In order to enrich the students' after-school life and improve their physical quality, the 22nd badminton mixed team competition of Xiamen University (Xiang'an campus) kicked off in Aiqiu gymnasium in 2021. Nine teams from Xiang'an campus competed on the same stage. After several fierce competitions in the preliminary, semi-finals and finals, four teams including International College entered the finals. On the morning of December 26, the mixed group final started. The badminton team members of International College were full of fighting spirit and tried their best to win the first place in the undergraduate group of mixed group competition in Xiang'an campus with their exquisite skills.
The players went all out to attack and defend on the court, the splendid moments showed the players' hard and solid training results and reflected the fine style of cooperation, unity and trust of the players.
The badminton competition is the epitome of our college's extensive physical education, guiding young students to actively participate in physical exercise and improve their physical quality. Besides, International College has also won the championship of the futsal, men's volleyball, women's volleyball and other events in Xiang'an campus of Xiamen University this year, and the sports work has reached a new level. In the future, the college will continue to carry out various sports activities, lead young students to carry forward the spirit of struggle, enjoy fun in sports, enhance their physical quality, temper their will and improve their personality, so as to add luster and vitality to the college and school's sports education.
